National Kidney Day was observed on 14th March 2025 in the college seminar hall to raise awareness about kidney health and the importance of preventive care. The event was graced by Dr. Ramana Murugadoss from Arunai Medical College and Hospital, who served as the Chief Guest. He delivered an insightful and inspiring address, highlighting the significance of early detection and healthy lifestyle choices in preventing kidney-related diseases.

Our Vice Chairman, Mrs. Sruthi Radhakrishnan, was present for the event and felicitated the Chief Guest for his contributions to the medical field.

As part of the program, students performed a short skit illustrating healthy and unhealthy lifestyle practices and their impact on kidney health. The performance was both informative and engaging, adding value to the awareness initiative.

An on-spot quiz competition was also conducted, with active participation from students. The winning quiz team, along with winners of the glass painting competition previously held on National Donor Day, were awarded certificates and books in recognition of their achievements.

The event was thoughtfully organized by our principal Dr.R. Jayalakshmi, showcasing the institution’s ongoing commitment to health education, awareness, and student development.
