The Lamp Lighting Ceremony was held on Friday, 7th February 2025, in the college seminar hall, marking a momentous occasion in the lives of our first-year nursing students. This traditional ceremony symbolizes the students’ transition into the nursing profession, inspired by the values and legacy of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.

Dr.G. Hariharan, M.S., DNB, MCH Dr.G. Hariharan, M.S., DNB, MCH (Paediatric Surgeon), Dean of Govt. Medical College & Hospital (Tiruvannamalai), honored us as the Chief Guest and delivered a motivating address, emphasizing the importance of compassion, commitment, and continuous learning in the field of nursing. The students solemnly took the Nightingale Pledge, affirming their dedication to the ethical and selfless practice of nursing.

The event was graced by the proud presence of our management board and parents, whose support and encouragement made the occasion even more meaningful. Their presence added warmth and inspiration to the ceremony, reinforcing the sense of community and shared responsibility in shaping future healthcare professionals.
