Laboratories
Nursing Foundation Lab
Our Nursing Foundation Lab is fully equipped with high-quality manikins, instruments, and equipment as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) guidelines. Advanced simulators provide a realistic patient care environment, allowing students to develop their skills through hands-on practice and simulation-based learning.
Faculty members demonstrate essential nursing procedures, after which students re-demonstrate and refine their techniques on manikins. This structured approach helps build confidence and proficiency, ensuring that students transition smoothly into clinical practice while minimizing errors and ensuring safe patient care.
To nourish the foundation of nursing, our lab is well equipped with high quality manikins, equipments & instruments as recommended by the Indian Nursing Council. Our lab is well suited with Simulators to make the learning more practical & easier. Simulation creates real patient environment, paving way for the students to practice & act as if they are handling real patients and learning things through trial & error approach on dummies.
Basic nursing procedures are firstly demonstrated by the teachers, & then the students re-demonstrate & practice on manikins to gain confidence and this prevents the students from committing mistakes & causing harm during clinical training.
The nursing skills learnt by the students are safely passed onto actual patient care later on, during clinical practice.
Community Health Nursing Lab
COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB
The Community Health Nursing Lab equips students with the skills and knowledge required to address healthcare challenges in rural and urban communities. It provides hands-on training to prepare nursing students for household surveys, mass campaigns, home visits, and healthcare programs, including school health initiatives in rural areas.
The department actively engages students in primary healthcare innovation, encouraging them to identify and implement solutions for community health issues. During clinical training in urban and rural health centers, students utilize community health nursing bags, health education materials, charts, models, and puppets to enhance their learning and effectively educate the community.
Community Health Nursing laboratory is utilized for rural & urban health experience for students, preparing the student nurses to satisfy the ever-changing challenges of society. The department, encourages the students to regularly participate in working on household surveys, mass campaigns, home visits, health care programs, school health programs in the rural areas.
Our community health department actively works on providing opportunities for the students to participate, identify & solve health problems within a community through innovation in primary health care.
Community health nursing bags, health education materials, charts, models, puppets are provided to the students to work with, during their clinical training in the urban & rural area health centers.
Obstetrical & Gynaecological Lab
OBSTETRICAL & GYNAECOLOGICAL LAB
The Obstetrical & Gynaecological Lab is designed to provide students with hands-on training in midwifery and reproductive health. It equips them with the necessary skills to handle normal and complicated deliveries, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world clinical practice.
The lab features advanced models and equipment, including pelvis models, fetal skulls, instruments, manikins, charts, play articles, and flashcards. Students gain practical experience in essential procedures such as antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal assessments, newborn care, and monitoring growth & development across different age groups. This structured learning environment helps students develop confidence and competence in maternal and child healthcare.
This laboratory is designed for midwifery experience & is equipped with an aim of developing student’s skill on handling normal & complicated delivery. Our lab comprises of latest articles & equipment which includes models to provide hands on experience in dealing with aspects related to The Conduct of Labor – Childbirth, Pregnancy & Women’s reproductive health.
The lab is equipped with pelvis, fetal skull, various instruments, different kinds of models & manikins, charts, play articles, flash cards, and necessary articles for procedure demonstration like assessment of ante natal mother, intra natal, post-natal mother, new born care and growth & development of all age groups to provide more insights to students on the subject.
Preclinical Lab
PRECLINICAL LAB
The Preclinical Lab provides students with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, microbiology, physiology, and biochemistry, forming the foundation for effective nursing practice. The lab is equipped with specimens, skeletons, models, slides, and charts, enabling students to gain deeper insights into the human body’s structure and physiological functions.
By bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, the lab prepares students for real-world healthcare settings, ensuring they can confidently apply their knowledge in both clinical practice and academic studies.
Preclinical lab provides comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, microbiology, physiology & biochemistry. Our lab includes specimens, skeletons, models, slides & charts which are used to help the students to have deeper understanding of the human body’s structure & physiological processes & how to apply the learnt knowledge in clinical & theoretical settings.
This lab helps in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge & practical application, preparing the students for real world healthcare settings
Nutrition Lab
NUTRITION LAB
Our nutrition lab focuses on helping students to gain adequate knowledge on nutrition needs to maintain optimum health at different stages of life & its application of practice in nursing.
The lab is well furnished with proper ventilation for the use of varied cooking methods towards healthy life style and it includes, gas stoves, refrigerator, microwave, assorted sets of cooking vessels for preparing various therapeutic diet food items.
The Nutrition Lab is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge of nutritional needs across different stages of life and their application in nursing practice. It enables students to understand the importance of balanced diets and therapeutic nutrition in promoting optimal health and patient care.
The lab is well-furnished with proper ventilation and modern kitchen equipment, including gas stoves, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a variety of cooking vessels. These facilities allow students to practice various cooking methods and prepare therapeutic diets, fostering a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Library & Archives
The college library serves as a central hub of knowledge and resources, offering an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital materials, with a primary focus on Nursing Science and General Medicine. Our library houses 3,500+ books, 700+ titles, 200+ reference books, and is equipped with computers and high-speed internet to support student research and academic pursuits.

Computer Lab

Our lab features multiple separate workstations, each equipped with the latest computer systems and high-speed internet access. Students can utilize these resources to access online books, e-journals, and research materials, ensuring they stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing and healthcare.
The computer science course in nursing program helps student to develop basic understanding of computers & their application in nursing profession.
There are multiple separate cabins in our computer lab, consisting of units of latest version with high-speed internet connection to have access to the online books & e-journals.
Hostel & Mess

Our college provides free bus facilities across 18 different routes, ensuring safe and convenient transportation for students and staff from various villages and different parts of the town.
In addition to the regularly scheduled trips, transportation services are also extended for special occasions, including after-college events, clinical postings, medical camps, and other academic activities, ensuring seamless mobility for our students.
